FLIP'S STORY
Since 2018, Philip had been an integral part of our band. His mastery of the bass, synth bass, coupled with his exceptional songwriting and production skills, elevated our music to new heights. He knew exactly how to make all of us better musically. He was a vital member of our team and had an inspiring spirit that made our chemistry one of a kind.
Flip was loved, not just by us, but by the entire city of Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. He will be remembered as a kind-hearted, talented musician, who brought joy to those around him. He may no longer grace us with his presence, but his spirit and legacy live on through his music and the memories he created with those he loved.
Philip "Flip" Price, bassist, musical director, songwriter, and producer of the Bill Henry Band, departed this life unexpectedly on September 15, 2022. In Pittsburgh, PA at the age of 38. Born on December 11, 1983, Philip was a skilled musician with an incredible passion for cooking and motorcycle riding. His smile lit up any room he entered and he will be eternally missed.
